Our vision is to shape a fairer, brighter carbon neutral future for all. we plan to deliver on this by preparing outstanding graduates to help solve critical, complex, global challenges and thought provoking, game changing research that is advancing knowledge to inform policy and practice.
Student Support
We want our students to reach their full potential, so  we offer many kinds of support  to our students throughout their studies.
Each student is allocated a Personal Supervisor to meet with throughout the year – they give academic advice and are a student’s first point of contact for feedback and guidance. Hull also has a Skills Team in the Library to help students develop academic and digital skills to enhance study and research skills. Through bookable appointments, group sessions and online resources the team support students in skills such as general studying, writing, referencing, resource discovery, analysis, presentation and ICT.

Our Student Services team also provide advice on matters like health and wellbeing, visas and immigration – ensuring students can get the most out of everything the university has to offer.
